Laurie is a published author with Penguin and Bantam and has worked as an editor at a publishing house. She has an MA in English Literature and is a former English and ESL teacher. Kevin M has produced two feature films along with his book credits. As a creative writing instructor at several colleges and conferences, Kevin M has helped several authors hone their work and many have gone on to lucrative publishing deals.

Editors Rosemary and Polina are also accomplished international writers. Rosemary has written for numerous publications including The National Post (Toronto), After all (Los Angeles), Canadian Art (Toronto), Flash Art (Milan), Bordercrossings (Winnipeg), Von Hundert (Berlin), The Senses and Society (Oxford), ArtNews (NY), Neue Review (Berlin) and Whitehot.com (Victoria). Academic editors Dr. Emily and Kevin V are both familiar with theses and dissertations, Dr. Emily worked as the editor of Trinity College Dublin Journal of Postgraduate Research and Kevin V, who has almost completed his PhD, has also helped several students as a university level writing instructor.

Both Jeff B and Kristen have ESL teaching experience. Jeff B has a BA and MA in philosophy from Concordia University in Montreal. He is trained in professional writing and editing. His work experience includes being an English instructor for several language schools in Japan and Canada, and as a writer and editor for a publishing company in Taiwan. Along with Kristen's ESL training, she has also worked at the corporate level assisting in website design, appraisal reports, marketing brochures, proposals and company newsletters.

Jeff K and Adam are familiar with APA, MLA, and Chicago style citation. Jeff has a Master's degree in English and Adam has a Doctorate in Communications and Culture. Currently, Adam is a teaching assistant at Ryerson University in the English Department, and has recently completed a two-year contract as an instructor at its Writing Centre.
