Eve Jeanette Blohm is a successful poetry and prose writer with over 28 books to her credit

New York, NY, June 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Eve Jeanette Blohm, Artist, Writer and Investor, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in poetry and prose writing.

Eve Jeanette Blohm has been an investor since 1973, and an artist and published writer since 1965. With 43 years of experience as an artist and writer, Ms. Blohm's expertise is in the writing of haikus. She has published a book of poems and has been honored by winning first, second, third and fourth places in several poetry and prose contests. As someone who attributes her success to her persistence and loyalty, she developed her writing talents after receiving encouragement from her sociology teacher at Adelphi University. Throughout her career, she has earned multiple distinctions, including a Pushcart nomination and the Poetry and Prose Award. She has also been a featured poet for 'Haiku Headlines,' 'Poets Fantasy' and' Simply Words, and has been listed as a distinguished poet for PAW. She has published over 28 books and a manuscript titled 'Sandcastle Dreams.' In addition, she has publishing credits in 'Parnassus,' 'SeLaVie Writers Journal,' 'Cochran's Corner,' 'Poets at Work,' 'Lucidity,' 'Lone Star Magazine,' 'Bell's Letters Poet' and 'United Amateur Press.'

In the future, Ms. Blohm hopes to publish more of her work and to develop her computer education. With a Bachelor of Arts in German and Social Sciences earned from Adelphi University in 1964, Ms. Blohm is also a member of the New York Poetry Forum, The Horticultural Society of New York, the New York State Poetry Association, the Academy of American Poets and the League of Women Voters. She is an accomplished swimmer who has swum across Lake George and is often found volunteering her time with local charitable organizations including Lighthouse PR, the American Cancer Society, and the office of Congressman Bill Green.
