Katherine Prizeman Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Katherine Prizeman is expected to receive her master's degree in global affairs in the spring of 2010
MINEOLA, NY, October 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Katherine Prizeman, Student at New York University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in international relations studies.
As a student at New York University, Ms. Prizeman is attending classes on international affairs and relations and writing her thesis on human security. She also works as an intern at Freedom House, an advocacy group for world freedom. She has taught beginner English through the Pursue Your Dream Foundation, studied abroad in Spain, Mexico and Cuba and traveled in Northern Africa. Fluent in Spanish and intermediate French, Ms. Prizeman is studying Arabic. She has been an assistant editor for the Interdisciplinary Journal of Human Rights Law since June 2009. She comes from a family of educators and attributes her success to her time management and planning skills.
Ms. Prizeman received her bachelor of arts in international business and philosophy from the University of Scranton in 2008. She is affiliated with the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies, Young Professionals for International Cooperation at the United Nations Association of Southern New York, Doctors Without Borders, Young Professionals in Foreign Policy at the United Nations and the Latin American Affairs Committee of the United Nations. She hopes to have a fellowship opportunity to work in the government sector.
