LateRooms.com - Enjoy Comicon in Naples
Comic book fans should head to Naples this spring to enjoy a festival celebrating Italian work as well as international authors.
NAPLES, ITALY, March 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Animation enthusiasts heading to Naples should ensure that they reserve a bit of time to check out Comicon, which is offering a series of exhibitions on the art form and much more.
Travellers relaxing at Naples hotels need not travel far as the event is taking place at Castel Sant' Elmo and Mostra d'Oltremare from April 30th to May 2nd.
It is the first time that the occasion has been held across two main locations, but the organisers stressed that these - and all other galleries and libraries where art is being shown - are all within the centre of the city and people can walk between most of them.
The international comic festival is welcoming Milo Manara as a guest speaker, as well as the writers of Tranches Napolitaines Mathieu Sapin, Anne Simon, Alfred and Georges Wolinski.
Among the other international stars to appear at the event will be Argentineans Enrique Breccia and Carlos Trillo, and Brazilian Galvao.
The festival does not just concentrate on books and novels, celebrating animated films in its 3DNA section and handing out prizes for the best work on show, with attendees acting as the jury.
Anyone interested in checking out this celebration of comic books can buy a ticket for the whole thing for EUR10 (GBP9).
To make the most of the Comicon - you should consider booking your hotel Napoli to avoid disappointment.
