Charles V. Mauro Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
The author of five books, and screenwriter and producer of two documentaries, Charles V. Mauro's first book won the Nan Netherton Award

HERNDON, VA, October 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles V. Mauro, Author, Screenwriter and Producer, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in publishing and film production.

For the past 18 years, Mr. Mauro has performed historical research, and written books and movie scripts on his findings. He is currently employed by the Federal Aviation Administration, where he has served as a manager for eight years.

Mr. Mauro is the author of "The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill): A Monumental Storm," which won the Nan Netherton Award. His most recently published book is entitled "A Southern Spy in Northern Virginia: The Civil War Album of Laura Ratcliffe." He has also written two screenplays; the first a multiple award-winning adaptation of "The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill): A Monumental Storm," the second, "Mosby's Combat Operations in Fairfax County, Virginia."

In 1982, Mr. Mauro earned an MBA in information systems management from Temple University. He is affiliated with the Bull Run Civil War Round Table and the Stuart Mosby Historical Society. In the past, he has served as the president of the Herndon Historical Society and the Manassas Warrenton Camera Club.
