Industry Leader Christine Weiss Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network
Christine Weiss celebrates 35 years of success in her career
NAPERVILLE, IL, October 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christine Weiss, Educator, Teacher, and Trainer of Teachers and Staff, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in literacy and mathematics and writing.
Ms. Weiss has 35 years of overall professional experience. A gifted educator and trainer, her current day-to-day responsibilities include instructing general third-grade students in a self-contained classroom, teaching individualized education programs, serving on school committees for leadership and curriculum development, conducting literacy training, mentoring, and reviewing books for The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. Additionally, Ms. Weiss serves as Building Induction Coordinator in mentoring new teachers. She attributes her success to her love for working with children.
In 1991, Ms. Weiss received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the National-Louis University. A member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society-Phi Delta Kappa, she received four nominations to be included in Who's Who Among American Teachers by the top 5% of students in high school. She names United Way Worldwide as her favorite cause. Looking ahead, she hopes to provide professional staff development support opportunities, including teacher/staff training and new teacher support.
