Zeina T. Schlenoff Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Zeina T. Schlenoff celebrates eight years as an associate in Arabic for Florida State University
TALLAHASSEE, FL, November 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Zeina T. Schlenoff, Associate in Arabic for The Florida State University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in Middle Eastern studies.
With eight years of experience as an associate in Arabic for The Florida State University, Zeina T. Schlenoff is responsible for co-directing the Middle Eastern studies program, directing and coordinating the Arabic division, teaching the Arabic language, and translating literature. Dr. Schlenoff was born and raised in Lebanon. She specializes in 20th century French and francophone literature, especially women writers from the Arab world. She attributes her success to her students.
Dr. Schlenoff received a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1995. She is a member of the Middle Eastern Studies Association, the American Association of Teachers of Arabic, and the Association for Middle Eastern Women's Studies.
