CALGARY, AB, December 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Annette Stanwick, was recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career as International Speaker, Award-winning Author and Global Freedom Facilitator of Heart Message Productions and Publishing, and as Vice President-Medical Affairs of Gimbel Eye Centre.

With decades of professional health care experience, Mrs. Stanwick attributes her success to her education, combined with a series of life changing experiences. She spent three years in Ethiopia delivering babies in mud huts and holding family planning clinics to reduce the number of children born to illiterate and impoverished families. During that time, she miraculously recovered from a deadly strain of meningitis, narrowly escaped abduction by a violent stranger, and experienced the sheer terror of being shot at.

Back in Canada, while serving as Vice President of a large hospital, she overcame the extensive trauma of a nearly fatal automobile accident. When her brother was murdered, she forgave the murderer in spite of her deep grief. These and many other life-altering experiences have given her a deep understanding of human behavior and relationships, along with a passion for helping others to let go of their own painful experiences.

As President and CEO of Heart Message Productions and Publishing, Mrs. Stanwick inspires and empowers people in making transformational changes in their personal and professional lives. Her career consists of presenting inspirational keynote messages, seminars and workshops internationally along with serving as a health care executive, having served in senior positions of several hospitals across Canada.

Mrs. Stanwick earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a member of National Speakers Federation, Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and the Women's Information Network. She received an Integrity Award for Personal and Professional Excellence presented by Rotary International.
