Madeleine I. Boucher, Ph.D., to be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Dr. Madeleine I. Boucher is a co-founder and the first director of the Women's Studies Program at Fordham University

BRONX, NY, December 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Madeleine I. Boucher, Retired Professor of Theology at Fordham University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

Dr. Boucher has 29 years of overall professional experience. Her responsibilities at Fordham University included teaching biblical studies (the New Testament), conducting research and directing the women studies program. Also a published author, she has written two books on the parables of Jesus and numerous scholarly articles. Her work in progress is a book on God-language titled "Father: The Measure of a Metaphor."

In 1973, Dr. Boucher received a Ph.D. in religious studies from Brown University. She is a member of Catholic Biblical Association of America and the Society of Biblical Literature.
