Dr. Peter Hruby Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Dr. Peter Hruby celebrates 65 years of success in his career

ANNAPOLIS, MD, April 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Peter Hruby, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing.

Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Dr. Hruby worked in a factory during World War II and later saw how the communists were trying to change the country. In 1948 when they took over, he went into exile. This event inspired him to write about the political impact, and publish three books. They include "Fools and Heroes: The Changing Role of Communist Intellectuals in Czechoslovakia," "Daydreams and Nightmares: Czech Communist and Ex-Communist Literature," and "Dangerous Dreamers: The Australian Anti-Democratic Left and Czechoslovak Agents."

Dr. Hruby has also been a professor and taught international relations, Soviet studies and the history of western civilization at Charles University in Prague, Curtin University in Australia and the University of Maryland, International Division. Currently, he is writing his memoirs tentatively titled "From Rowboats to Sailboats: The Troubled and Happy Life of a Healer of Mental Political Sickness." He received his Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Geneva and the Institute of Higher International Studies.
