With nearly two decades of professional expertise, Richard A. Malta is an accomplished Author and Freelance Writer, having graced the pages of Newsday, Family Digest and other nationally distributed publications. Specializing in fiction and non-fiction writing, Mr. Malta recently completed his first suspense novel, "Evangelist Caper." The book was released in March 2010 and is available at amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, evangelistcaper.com and and Books-A-Million.com. He writes short stories, novels and articles, and holds a masters of science in education and a bachelor of arts in English from Hofstra University.
Crediting his success to his commitment to God, determination to help others and the support of his wife, family and friends, Mr. Malta strives to promote God's love for humankind through his writing. A born-again Christian, he volunteers at a half-way house through his local church. Prior to becoming a serious writer, Mr. Malta worked for the Nassau County Department of Social Services.
