Sandra Marie Marshall Irvine Noted for Accomplishments in Creative Writing
Sandra Marie Marshall Irvine, a.k.a. S. Carm, is the author of "The Kingdom of Paradise"
NAPLES, FL, May 20, 2010, Sandra Marie Marshall Irvine, Author under the name S. Carm, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in creative writing.
With 45 years of experience in writing, Sandra Marie Marshall Irvine, a.k.a. S. Carm, is a famed author of sagas, novels and cookbooks. Her works, which include "The Kingdom of Paradise," "Drama in Paradise" and "Recipes from Paradise," each convey a meaningful message: "Anyone can reap the benefit of that which is possible." If she could overcome her life obstacles to pursue her dream of writing, S. Carm notes, anyone can. In fact, she is a dedicated advocate for educational scholarships and helps to raise funds for such endeavors when she is not writing. She was trained in fundraising by Rev. Ronald W. Sams at Canisius private high school in Buffalo, New York.
S. Carm's work has been honored with such awards as the 1991 Judge's Choice Award from the Centennial Art Center in Buffalo, New York, six art awards, and the 1975 Woman of the Year Award from the City of Buffalo Youth Corp. She is a member of the Bishop's Committee for St. John Neumann High School and served as a youth instructor for the City of Buffalo Youth Corp. Additionally, she lends her philanthropic support to Avow Hospice, Inc. and Saint Leo the Great Parish. Crediting her success to her goal-oriented nature, she plans to continue writing as she moves forward in her career.
Ms. Irvine attended Villa Maria College. And Mount Mercy Academy. Last year, she was honored as Cambridge Who's Who "Professional of the Year in Authorship," a title that is reserved for a select group of individuals demonstrating professional excellence and integrity. She is married to Retired Air Force Chief John J. Irvine. She is the mother of two children, 10 grandchildren and most recently one great-grandson.
