Sister Clara Esker Honored by Leading Professional Organization
Sister Clara Esker celebrates 11 years at the Moreland Notre Dame School

WATSONVILLE, CA, May 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Sister Clara Esker, Teacher and Learning Center Director at the Moreland Notre Dame School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in elementary and secondary education.

Sister Clara Esker is a respected professional in the field of education possessing over four decades of professional expertise. Now thriving in her 11th year at the Moreland Notre Dame School, she serves as teacher and Learning Center Director specialized in language arts. Her primary responsibilities include teaching eighth-grade English, seventh-grade religion and offering composition classes to students in grades one through eight. She holds a master's degree in elementary education from Clarke College and maintains active affiliation with the National Community Education Association.

Crediting her success to her strong sense of humor, Sister Esker notes that she had always felt a calling to religious education. Moving forward, she will continue at Notre Dame with a renewed commitment to helping children to express themselves in constructive and positive ways. Sister Esker is also an avid outdoorswoman and lends her philanthropic support to the National Wildlife Federation.
