SOUTH MILLS, NC, August 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chiquita D. Mitchell, MBA, Technician for Elizabeth City State University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

As a technician for Elizabeth City State University, Ms. Mitchell specializes in academic affairs management. Her responsibilities entail overseeing the management of academic activities, cataloging books, interacting with students and assisting them in conducting research. She is also an advisor for the Student Government Association and the American Library Association.

Ms. Mitchell received her Master of Business Administration from Hampton University in Virginia (1986) and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1985). She started her career as an administrative assistant II at Elizabeth City State University. She has 20 years of experience in academic affairs and was a band majorette. She was working with the band for 19 years. In addition, she is a member of the handbook committee and faculty development committee.
