Samuel Wheat Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Samuel Wheat, generally known as "Sam," is a leading professional in education, celebrating 28 years in the industry

BERKELEY, CA, August 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samuel Wheat, Retired Teacher at Oakland Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

In June of 1998, Mr. Wheat retired from full-time teaching. Until recently, he has also held sporadic part-time positions. He has 40 years of overall professional experience. At Oakland Unified School District, his responsibilities included teaching writing fiction and poetry. Mr. Wheat is the author of two books, entitled "Sounds that Leave Echoes" (2004) and "Melting Pot" (1980). He is also the writer of a number of short stories; among them are: "The Whistle" and "Dago."

In 1977, Mr. Wheat received his Master's Degree in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing, from the University of San Francisco. He is a former associate of the Public Education Network.
