William P. Alfkin Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Motivational Coaching & Youth Development
William P. Alfkin is a people-oriented professional with more than 35 years of experience

Alfkin, of the Social Services Branch of Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services, was recently featured in Cambridge Publishing's Top 101 Industry Experts book. William P. Alfkin is a people-oriented professional with more than 35 years of experience. With a specialization in writing and journalism, he also acts as a catalyst to motivate youth to realize and then attain their life goals. A long-standing desire to help people prompted Mr. Alfkin to pursue a career in social services and motivational coaching.
As an engineer, Mr. Alfkin achieved a certain level of success that he would like to convey to his clients in order to inspire them. His greatest accomplishment to date has been a combination of his experiences in the engineering field and his motivational work with youth groups. "These experiences have taken me to new levels that are higher than I ever dreamed," he notes. He hopes to continue achieving personal growth while continuing to help others.
Mr. Alfkin completed coursework at the College of the Redwoods and California State University. He was a recipient of the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering Scholarship through California State University. He is a member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. He holds a certificate of completion in mechanical-structural drafting from ITC Technical College as well as six Auto Computer-Aided Design [AutoCAD] certifications.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling and photography. Mr. Alfkin also gives generously to and volunteers for Native American tribal organizations and local healthcare facilities. When he retires, he hopes to travel abroad in order to bring his work to an international level.
