Cambridge Who's Who Adds Miranda Parbhoo Conyers to the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Miranda Parbhoo Conyers established Arabic-English Translation Services, Inc., to satisfy her love for writing and translation
Fairfax, VA, September 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Miranda Parbhoo Conyers, President of Arabic-English Translation Services, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence.
In the '90s, Conyers started her career as an economic researcher before she decided to change her career to satisfy her love for writing and translation. Ever since, she has written hundreds of articles and short stories, including a children's book that can be found on Amazon.com titled, "Daddy, Please Don't Cry," which she wrote after losing her own niece in a car accident, to help grieving children cope with the loss of a loved one.
Conyers is convinced that her love for the written word has also been the reason behind her outstanding success in the field of translation, and her becoming an authority in Arabic translation, especially in the fields of national security, international relations and counterterrorism. During the past 17 years, Miranda has translated over 2 million words and edited double that number.
Mrs. Miranda Conyers has recently incorporated her business and expanded her markets to include consumers, government agencies and commercial enterprises both nationally and internationally.
In her present capacity as the president of Arabic-English Translation Services, Inc. of Fairfax, Virginia, Miranda Conyers is responsible for negotiating and bidding for private and government contracts as well as overall quality control, in which she prides herself.
Miranda Conyers has been the recipient of several awards of appreciation and excellence, among which was the Employee of the Year Award, which was given to her in 2007 by a former employer.
Conyers attributes her success in life to her faith, moral values, dedication and passion for the profession, and most importantly to the unconditional love and support that has been given to her by her family.
Conyers, who was born in Bethlehem, lived in Kuwait, Egypt and India before she migrated with her family to the U.S. in 1991, studied at the American University in Cairo and Bombay University, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
