Hammond, LA, September 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynn G. Armstrong, Artist and Writer of Creations By Lynn, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.

A writer and artist with over 26 years of professional experience, Lynn G. Armstrong is a recognized figure in the creative arts fields. She is a landscape and animal portrait painting authority specializing in oil, pastel and watercolor mediums. For her work, she has won ribbons in Cyril and Apache, Oklahoma, and Hammond and Amite, Louisiana, as well as exhibited at the First Guaranty Bank Art Gallery in Hammond, LA.

Now thriving in her seventh year with Creations By Lynn, Ms. Armstrong also writes children's stories and works in the adult fiction genre. She was educated at the Institute of Children's Literature, and recently completed a seven credit course with LongRidge Writers Group, an adult fiction/non fiction school in West Redding, Connecticut. In the future, Ms. Armstrong will seek to procure a large publisher for her stories.

Ms. Armstrong is a professional affiliate of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, the Hammond Art Guild and the Amite Art Club.
