LAS VEGAS, NV, October 06, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Susan Shevlin, Literacy Specialist for Clark County School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

As a literacy specialist for Clark County School District, a position she has held for 12 years, Ms. Shevlin coaches and mentors teachers in reading and language arts education, utilizing various programs to help elementary school children develop their writing and reading skills. Ms. Shevlin earned a Master of Arts in teaching from Grand Canyon University in 2000, having received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1970. In addition to her formal education, she holds a Write from the Beginning Trainer Certification + Thinking Maps Trainer from Thinking Maps, Inc.
