SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ, November 2, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Brewer, Certified Medical Transcriptionist, formerly employed by Mercy Gilbert Hospital for four years until they outsourced the department, now employed by Transcend Transcription Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership, and excellence in medical transcription.

Now with 25 years of experience in medical transcription, Ms. Brewer has expertise in transcribing and editing multispecialty dictation from American-born physicians and foreign physicians, including operations, cardiac tests, neurologic tests, endoscopies, history and physicals, discharge summaries, and consultations.

Ms. Brewer earned an associate degree in business administration at Glendale Community College, has taken class work at Gateway Community College in medical transcription, and continues to read extensively and take additional medical courses to keep up with the challenges of the field of medicine. She successfully passed the Certified Medical Transcription exam in July, 2010.
