Dorothy "Dottie" Bayles Recognized for Dedication to Broadcasting
Dottie Bayles holds the distinction of being the first female sales executive of KMAQ Radio

MAQUOKETA, IA, July 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dorothy Bayles, Account Executive for KMAQ Radio, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in broadcasting.

Ms. Bayles has 34 years of experience in broadcasting and the distinction of being the KMAQ Radio's first female sales executive. In her role, she is tasked with writing copy, selling advertising space, producing radio ads, and communicating with clients. She also assists disc jockeys with live programming and broadcasts specialized programs. Ms. Bayles produces the station's auction show on Saturday morning and coordinates the operations of the farm and home show. She attributes her success to the guidance of her employers.

Prior to her career in radio, Ms. Bayles worked as a Realtor for 12 years. She held a real estate license in the state of Iowa. Her affiliations include The Tuesday Club and the Franciscan Associates Program of the Order of Saint Francis. Ms. Bayles was honored with an Operation Pride Award from the Maquoketa Chamber of Commerce.
